AARP Tax Assistance
With the tax season quickly approaching, seniors and low-income residents can look forward to help through a FREE service offered by AARP. AARP Tax-aide volunteers, who are trained by the Internal Revenue Service and the Maryland Comptroller's Office, assist taxpayers over 60 and those in low-income tax brackets file their Federal and State tax returns. AARP membership is not required.
Individuals in the Brooklyn Park area can call Charlotte Cooper at 410-636-7307 from February 2 through April 6, Monday through Saturday before 6 pm. for an appointment or to ask questions.
