    From Route 2, head east toward Annapolis on West Street. The library is approximately 1/8 mile past Legion Avenue on the left where West Street narrows to two lanes.

Babies In Bloom
Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their babies (up to 24 months) for a fun-filled half-hour of stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays, all specifically designed to stimulate early infant development.
After the designated programs, caregivers and their children can stay for a lively and informative discussion of issues and concerns related to caring for newborn to five year-olds. The presentations will be hosted by Tot's Line, a County information and referral service.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis for all programs.

Storytime -
Library storytimes are presented for children ages two to five, unless otherwise noted. Parents and caregivers must accompany two and three year-olds, while children four years and older may attend alone, providing an adult remains in the branch.
Tuesdays, September 9 through November 25 at 9:30 am. for two year-olds; at 10:30 am. for three to five year-olds.

Stories for Sleepyheads
Thursday, September 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
Snuggle down at the library in your comfies! Bring your favorite lovey and enjoy bedtime stories and activities.

One Maryland One Book
A Hope Unseen: An American Odyssey from the Inner City to the Ivy League
Saturday, October 11 from 10 to 11 am.
Day-to-day survival in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Washington D.C., was challenging, but talented teenager Cedric Jennings overcame all odds to escape the streets and attend Brown University. Journalist Ron Suskind won a Pulitzer Prize for his feature series chronicling Jennings’ amazing journey. Suskind expanded these stories into the book A Hope Unseen: An American Odyssey from the Inner City to the Ivy League. Join staff from the Maryland Humanities Council in a thought-provoking discussion of the race, class and economic issues raised in this compelling narrative.
One Maryland One Book is a program of the Maryland Humanities Council.

Genealogy and Computers: The U.S Census
Thursday, September 25 from 10 am. to 12 noon.
Genealogist Margaret McMahon will help you learn more about your ancestors’ vital details using the online U.S. census.
